Friends of the Cheat is excited to introduce the 2025 Trailhead Concert Series! Held under the Keith Pitzer Memorial Pavilion at the Cheat River Trailhead in Kingwood, WV, this series will showcase a fantastic lineup of local solo artists and bands for all to enjoy.

In addition to live music, the events will feature food trucks, local vendors, educational displays, and kids' activities. Designed to bring the community together, these events are free and open to the public.

Friday, June 13th 6-8pm will feature music by Chris Felton & Reckart Hollow.

Food by Heather's Original Philly Cheesesteaks and Eddie's Shaved Ice will be available for purchase.

Vendors are Center for Resilient Communities and Hunt's Haven.

Kid's Area activities include making animal prints and identifying stream bugs.

Friday, July 11th 6-8pm will feature music by The Wilson Family Band.

Food by Top Dawg and the Crazed Lemon will be available for purchase.

Kid's Area activities include making AMD tie dyes - bring a shirt or bandana!

Friday, July 25th 6-8 pm will feature music by The Weary Space Wanderers.

Food by Imposter Pizza and Eddie's Shaved Ice will be available for purchase.

Friday, August 8th 6-8pm will feature music by The Mill Creek Cronies.

Food from Screech Owl Brewing and Eddie's Shaved Ice will be available for purchase.

Come to at least 3 events and get your Cheat River Rail-Trail passport stamped to receive a special Friends of the Cheat gift!

Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged for your comfort.

No pop up/EZ ups allowed.

Well-behaved pets are welcome but must be leashed and under supervision at all times.
