Welcome to Maple "Our care of the child should be governed, not by the desire ‘to make him learn things’, but by the endeavor always to keep burning within him that light which is called intelligence." —Dr. Maria Montessori

Highlights:-

Hello all Maple families! Each day is interesting and productive. Our toddlers in Maple have progress very well this school year. We wish them all the best. We would like to share all the things we have done this fun school year.

I would also take this opportunity to thank to all our maple families for coming and helping us for gardening. The toddlers will definitely take care of the plants by watering and weeding. Getting the toddlers involved in such activity is beneficial in many ways.

Practical Life Skill:-

In the practical section children are practicing new activities; children were practicing feathers transferring with the clothes pin. This activity help to teach the children how to use clothespins, It also helps them to develop their pincer grasp and helps with small muscle development. The children visited a bird named Mango, and they were observing Mango and also feeding him. They were very excited to see the bird and enjoyed feeding it.

Sensorial Area:-

In the sensorial section children are enjoy matching texture activity. Matching is fun and challenging work that offers tons of developmental benefits. It help them to interacting with different textures and pattern. Also help them to build their own confidence, concertation. Help to develop their understanding of the world around them.

Math Area:-

In math section children's are trying to learn number in a new way, they enjoy counting and one to one correspondence. One-to-one correspondence math activities are simple and a lot of fun for toddlers. These activities are incredibly engaging as well. At an early age it helps set the stage for learning basic math concepts such as addition and subtraction.

Science Area:-

In the science section, we discussed about the birds and bird nest. Nest provide a suitable location for birds to lay their eggs or raise their offspring. Children are observing and analyzing a real birds nest along with determining what natural materials are used to make a nest.

In the language section children are trying to put letter in sequence. Also trying to identify picture in the book. Children are enjoying classification by categories( Wings and No wings of insects). It help to develop a range of thinking skills and build the foundations for later problem-solving. Help to develop visual memory, ability to identify patterns, relationships, similarities and differences between the objects.

Art Area:-

In the art area children are coloring paper plates and gluing shapes to form an Bee. Gluing activity is really fun for toddlers, Gluing shapes together helps them to know where and how to glue shapes. It also teaches them about Bee, like how they have wings and have antennas. Toddlers are busy making their father's day gift.
