This art piece interprets what my home looks like in the morning. I learned to see it from another perspective. It shows how my mom tries hard on things and how my dad is goofy and silly. My goal was to show the viewer a new way of art. Many people have seen art as clean but not my art. It’s chaotic and hard to look at and I like it that way. I hope the audience sees and creates their own story line with it. This could represent not just my story but someone else’s as well.
I created a snowboarding shoe with a king snake around it. I learned how to use shapes to create different things. My goal was to show how creative people can be. I feel like it gives a view of how dangerous things can look so simple. I hope my audience decides to go visit the page and see how amazing Xtreme Latitude is. I hope they feel courage to try something new.
I created a snowboard design that shows what it's like to camp at night. I learned to create a design that attracts audiences with different points of view. My goal was to create something that spoke to the lower tier of age groups for example teens to people in their early twenties. It reminds me of child ghost stories you would hear when you’re out camping. It sort of makes me feel warm inside. I hope the audience feels their childhood memories coming back, and appreciating this art piece
I created a shoe design with a couple butterflies flying around in a swirl of tan and white. This represents how beautiful things can be in the darkest areas. I learned how to create design without making it look sloppy. My goal was to create something with colors you wouldn’t expect to see together. I feel like it has a really elegant interpretation. I hope my audience sees it as creative and something they would actually wear.
I have created a turtle that represents the idea of plastic in the ocean. The turtle is pink to show the strangled feeling it has when it gets caught in nets. When turtles are shown on pictures or tv they always have those little cuts from fish hooks or nets, this is represented by the cut in half shells. My goal was to show the importance of cleaning up after yourself and not leaving trash where it doesn’t belong. I feel this piece shows a story not just something random. I hope the audience is inspired to do better.
