WHAT HAPPENED: Hamilton lost to South Haven 52-50 in the districts semi-final game. The Hawkeyes were up after three, before South Haven surged back taking the lead 50-47 with seconds left. Colin Schippa would make a long three to tie the game 50-50 with eight seconds left on the clock. South Haven would then attempt a contested three, and the refs would call a foul on the shot. After shooting and making one, a team manager would run onto the court to celebrate with the shooter, that would usually constitute a technical foul, however there was no time left on the clock when they were shooting the free throws. After convening the referees decided there was 0.8 seconds left on the clock, then creating an issue in the ruling of no technical foul. PICTURED: Hudsen Hulst
