I am Sadie Loehr. I grew up in Colorado Springs but moved to Georgetown, Texas in 2020. I am a freshman at Blinn College and planning to transfer to A&M after my sophomore year. I also am a babysitter and work at Bojo Coffee in College Station!

How did you hear about Beyond? I first heard about Beyond through a friend who had gone on the sea kayaking trip. I saw pictures of how beautiful it was and heard stories of how her life and people's lives around her were changed.
What are you looking forward to this summer? I am really looking forward to growing in community with the people around me and in my relationship with the Lord. I am so ready and excited to be away from distractions and just able to sit at the feet of Jesus, serve others, and experience his creation and love.
How are you hoping to grow this summer? I am really hoping to grow in my dependence on the Lord, just true reliance on him, knowing that I cannot do anything apart from him. I am hoping to become more selfless and servant hearted, ready to give myself away for whatever the Lord calls me to do.
What else should sponsors know about you? I have been a part of Young Life since middle school and it has had an insane impact on my life. The Lord has used Young Life to show me how much he loves me and how joyful life can be when I follow him. Jesus has met me year after year, since seventh grade, at various Young Life camps and events across the country, saving me, redeeming me from my sin, and showing me that he truly loves me, accepts me, wants me, and sees me as his beloved. I am so thankful for Young Life and the opportunity it has provided for me to connect with the Lord, and I want to make that possible for everyone else to experience, because it has truly changed my life.
What expenses are you fundraising to cover? I am fundraising to cover travel expenses, plane tickets, as well as gear and materials needed for the summer!
Prayer Requests
Please be praying that the Lord would continue to call staff and campers to Beyond who are supposed to be there this summer! Prayers that campers would grow to know that the love of Christ is the most important thing and that their lives would be changed! Prayers that the Lord would prepare my heart and the rest of the staff's hearts for this summer, equipping us and strengthening us for all that is to come.
