Concept Overview

We will utilize the imagery of the Grand Canyon and the musical idea of echoes to create an instantly intriguing show. We have all heard an echo at some point and been in awe of how the sound carries on. Our audiences will be drawn in by our creative connection of echoes and the Grand Canyon to bring this idea to life.

Visual Aesthetics

We will pull our color palette from the natural imagery of the Grand Canyon. I think it could be cool to tie in the natural colors of a sunset as well. To me the sunset works well with the echo concept.

I think it is fine if the band wears their uniforms... but I do think a custom top with this could almost make them a part of the landscape with the guard being the sky colors to accent the field.

We can use the previous years scaffolding and backdrops to create a 3 dimensional canyon/mountain look on the field with different layers. I would also love to get performers onto the scaffolding to create more texture.
