Harry Potter Reading Club
This club was started to share the joy of reading the Harry Potter book series
written by J. K. Rowling
What is the Harry Potter Reading Club?
- A club that is designated to have fun while reading the Harry Potter book series
- Group 1 reads the first three books
- Discuss themes, play quiz games, and watch the movies
- We watch the corresponding movie after we finish a book. The students will compare and contrast the film versus the book.
Where and When do we meet?
- We meet in the library twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays during the morning recess 10:10-10:30am
What are the first three books?
- Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Do we need to get our own copy of the books?
No, you don't. The library has about 17 copies to lend out to the students if you are unable to have your own copy. These library copies have been purchased for this Club and has also received many donations so that we don't turn anyone away. We are here to help you out :)
