In this article I will be going over the betting favorite in the Super Bowl over the last 10 years and who won. I will also go into the Super Bowl MVP favorite and who won. Then that will be a deciding factor in who wins it all.

In this game the Panthers were favored by a full 6 points against Payton Manning and the Denver Broncos. 80% of the public bets were on the Panthers and it seemed like they were going to win. The Broncos ended up winning by two scores in an upset. The Super Bowl MVP favorite was Cam Newton, but for the Broncos it was Peyton Manning. Peyton Manning didn’t win though as it was Avon Miller.

Obviously as everybody should know that game went to O.T and the Patriots won by 6. The Super Bowl MVP favorite was Tom Brady, and that was who it was. The Patriots were the higher seed in this game as they were the #1 seed. Everything in this game went how it should.

In this game the Patriots were 5.5 point favorites against the Eagles who didn’t have their starting QB. 75% of public bettors went for the Patriots. The Patriots were heavy favorites so they should have won. But as most people know the Eagles won by 8 points in a close game. The MVP favorite for that game was of course Tom Brady, and for the Eagles it was Nick Foles. Nick Foles ended up winning Super Bowl MVP so technically that was correct for the Eagles. Both teams were #1 seeds in that game.

The Patriots were 2.5 point favorites against young QB Jared Goff and the Rams. 82% of public bettors went for Tom Brady to win another Super Bowl, so the Patriots were heavily favored by most people. That game was known as one of the worse Super Bowls as it came down to the final score of 13-3. with Tom Brady and the Pats winning. Of course Tom Brady was the favorite to win Super Bowl MVP, but surprisingly Brady didn’t win it, Julian Edelman did. In this game both teams were the #2 seed.

In this game Patrick Mahomes in his first Super Bowl was a 1.5 point favorite over the San Francisco 49ers. 63% of people went for Mahomes to win and become the youngest Super Bowl winner ever. The Chiefs were favored, and they came out on top against the 49ers in a two score game. The favorite to win Super Bowl MVP for the Chiefs was Patrick Mahomes and that’s who won it. In that game the higher seed was the 49ers as they were a #1 seed.

This time Tom Brady was the underdog. Mahomes and the Chiefs were 3.5 point favorites against the Buccaneers, and public bettors mostly picked towards the Chiefs at 60%. As many people know the Buccaneers dominated the Chiefs 31-9 in a terrible game. The Super Bowl MVP favorite was of course Mahomes but for the Buccaneers it was Brady who eventually won it. In that game the Buccaneers were the #5 seed, and the Chiefs were the best team in the league at the #1 seed.

In this game the Rams were heavy favorites by 4 against Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase. Public Bettors for this game surprisingly went for the Bengals as 56%. This game was up in the air, but the Rams came out on top winning by 3. In this game the Super Bowl MVP Favorite was Matthew Stafford but Kupp who was a triple crown winner won Super Bowl MVP. In that game the higher seed was none of them as they were both #4 seeds.

In this game Mahomes was surprisingly the underdog. The Eagles were 1.5 point favorites, with 60% of public bettors picking the Eagles. Eventually as most people know The Chiefs won that one in a thriller by 3. In that game the Super Bowl MVP Favorite was Jalen Hurts and for the Chiefs it was Patrick Mahomes. In the game it went to Overtime and the Chiefs won the game by 3 on a game winning touchdown. For the Chiefs Mahomes was the Super Bowl MVP favorite, and that’s who won it.
