Highlights from the Spring 2025 Showcase
FYW's Digital Literacy Showcase is open to all students, faculty, staff, administrators, families, community members, and anyone else who wants to see the amazing, interesting, and complex work students are developing in their first-year writing classes.
our goals:
- To support students' development as writers in the 21st century
- To reinforce asset-based, process-focused pedagogies
- To support students' career readiness with transferable skills
- To strengthen the community within SJSU's First-Year Writing Program
- To build connections with campus and community partners
Why Should You Attend?
- To see amazing students doing amazing work
- To see how you might develop digital literacy projects for your own classroom
- To see what kinds of projects future interns / employees are working on
- To identify potential recruits for internships and early-career opportunities
