Week 3

Maths - We’ve had such a fun week exploring multiplication and division! The class has been singing songs, dancing, and using lots of actions to help remember our times tables — and it’s really working! After that, we created groups to practise dividing, and everyone did a great job showing how division is all about sharing equally. It’s been wonderful to see so much energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm in our maths learning!

P.E - We had a fantastic P.E. session continuing our cricket learning! The children moved around a carousel of different skill stations, each one designed to help them practise something new. Everyone showed great focus and teamwork as they tested out each activity. It was brilliant to see their confidence grow and their cricket skills improving with every rotation!

R.E - We have been learning all about morals in R.E. and how people decide what is right and wrong. The children explored what different religions teach about showing kindness, focusing especially on Christianity and Judaism. They were fascinated to discover that there are 613 rules Jewish people follow to help them live good lives — we all agreed that would be very hard to remember! To understand this better, we played a memory game with just 15 images, and even that was tricky enough. The class had some brilliant discussions and showed great curiosity throughout the lesson.
