Dear University Community,
GOOD AFTERNOON DUSTDEVILS!
- We had a remarkable Welcome Week last week and it was great to see large crowds for our events, especially the closing CABchella Friday. Our hats are off to our SOLE team, CAB, and SGA for collaboration on planning and presentation of this fun event.
- Be on the lookout for a highlight reel to include the reveal of our Dusty the Dustdevil post-Glow-Up! Dusty was in the house on Friday and enjoyed dancing, DJ-ing and meeting students attending.
- This week, we’re on to Involvement Week Sept. 2 – 6...dedicated to showing you how you can get involved in student life here. Details below.
- Also, this week is our First-Year Celebration featuring Reading the Globe participants and information on a Study Abroad trip to Chile for enrolled first-year students.
- Congrats to our TAMIU Esports Teams who have scored major divisional victories in Overwatch and Valorant. Find out more.
- Don’t forget to download SafeZone, a free app-based safety, communications, emergency management, and wellbeing service that replaces our DustyALRT. Details below and here.
Make it a great week and Go Dustdevils!
Go Dustdevils!
