REVEAL 2025 is Houston Community College’s annual Interior Design Portfolio Show—reimagined! This year, we’re offering a full day of immersive programming designed to showcase the talent of our graduating students while engaging the design community through workshops, CEUs, tours, VR experiences, and networking opportunities.

Hosted at the state-of-the-art West Houston Institute, the event features diverse student projects, including residential, commercial, and kitchen and bath design. Guests are invited to explore physical and virtual portfolios and experience student work in 3D using VR technology.

Walk through the exhibit and meet students in an informal setting. HCC faculty, staff, and guests are encouraged to attend. Graduates will be on-site to discuss their work and participate in interviews.

Step into the Virtual Reality Portfolio Show and experience our students’ designs like never before—immersively, interactively, and in 3D. Hosted in Spatial, this virtual gallery showcases the cutting-edge skills our students have mastered, including 3D modeling, digital rendering, and virtual environment design. Visitors can walk through student-designed interiors, view work from every angle, and engage with the creative process in a fully immersive format.

Keynote Speaker:

David Euscher, ASID, IIDS, NCIDQ, WELL AP

Vice President, Studio Design Director at Corgan | Chair, ASID National Board of Directors

David brings passionate curiosity to his work, focused on the interrelationships between culture, technology, and design. With each project, David seeks to understand the context, culture, and aspirations of those he serves, and focuses on the human experience of the outcome. David earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Architecture from The Ohio State University. David is the 2025 Chair of the ASID National Board of Directors and is the Interiors Studio Design Director in the Houston office of Corgan, a global leader in architecture and interior design.

David’s work is driven by a passionate curiosity about the interplay between culture, technology, and design. With each project, he seeks understanding of the context, culture, and aspirations of those he serves, while staying focused on the human experience. This lighting class will guide the Student - Interior Designers, Architects, Builders, Educators, and Consumers, into a deeper understanding of improving the Human Condition through thoughtful lighting design and application. This in-depth dive into light, lighting properties, specification, and application will empower the viewer to design and create amazing spaces and experiences. From birth to death, artificial lighting affects over half of our lives. Learn how to use it for a healthy life in all phases.

About Larry - With over 36 years experience as an electrician, lighting designer, electrical designer and sometime lighting fixture fabricator, Larry is called to not just light places, but to create spaces. Spaces worth traveling to. Spaces worth experiencing. Spaces worth living, working, or simply being. Having founded Image Electric in 1989, Larry has sought collaboration with designers, architects, builders, artists, and other like-minded creatives to sharpen and grow with. His life and career have taken him through a great many experiences that afford him a variety of history to pull from. He is passionate about lighting; it is his art. The world is the canvas.
