REGIONAL PATRON SCHEME
We recognise some companies will have a preference to focus on a particular territory or geographical area dependent on their own location, marketing strategy and target audience.
Split into 5 regions and made up of 28 separate sections, your company can become members of the Regional Patron Scheme. Aside to nationwide recognition of your support, you will be recognised as a key local sponsor having great brand awareness at all section golf and education days plus given the opportunity to present at roadshows across the UK.
Whether you select just 1 or all 5 regions we have a series of options to choose from and to start networking face to face with your customers.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the Learning and Development Roadshows?
The Roadshows will be a series of events that offer companies the chance to present to a small group of BIGGA members for 25 minutes in a ‘speed dating’ type day. Attendees will rotate around several stations at each event.
Who is organising them?
The Roadshow events will be organised by BIGGA. The Membership Services Manager in each Region will allocate places to companies involved with the scheme and each year the presentations will rotate around different areas.
Where will the Roadshows take place?
A full list of the Learning & Development Roadshows can be seen above. Additional venues will be added if required.
Are all the presentations taking place indoors?
Ideally most presentations should take place indoors. In some circumstances and with prior arrangement, some companies may be able to display a small amount of product outdoors – this needs to be pre-arranged and BIGGA cannot be responsible for the secure storage of any equipment.
How many staff can we send to each Roadshow?
An allocation of one member of staff is included in the package. Additional staff can attend but will be subject to a nominal fee to cover F&B.
What F & B is provided at the Roadshows?
Refreshments on arrival and a light lunch will be provided at each venue for all attendee’s and presenters.
Will we be provided with a list of those that attend?
BIGGA will provide you with a list of all attendee’s including their e-mail address. When booking a place at the event BIGGA Members will be told their names and e-mails will be passed onto the presenting companies but not to any third party.
If we join the scheme can our staff attend any BIGGA event?
If your staff are BIGGA member’s, they can attend any event in the UK that is open to affiliate members. They will however still need to pay the entry fee for any golf or education event (not including the L & D Roadshows) to cover the cost of attending.
What happens if we decide to run our own event?
BIGGA will help to advertise your event and promote it to our members, but you will be responsible for all the associated organisation and administration.
There is a BIGGA Education Day on but the presenter isn’t a Regional Patron
BIGGA Region’s and Sections will from time to time organise their own Educational Days and there will occasionally be talks and presentations from people / companies that are not part of the Regional Patron Scheme, but it has been deemed that the content is of value to BIGGA members.
