ℹ️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Your Student Number Becomes Your Alumni Number
Your student ID number automatically becomes your alumni ID number after graduation—you’ll continue to use it when accessing certain alumni services and resources.
Your Student Email Account Expires
Your @conestogac email expires after graduation, and you will lose access. The timing of account deactivation varies depending on the program you completed. Learn more about your account expiry. While you are still a student:
- Update your mailing address and contact information under the My Address tab on the Student Portal. If the college employed you, you must also update your mailing address and contact information on the Employee Portal.
- Transfer any personal accounts linked to your Conestoga email (like LinkedIn) to your personal email. Back up important files from your OneDrive to an external hard drive or personal cloud.
- Download copies of your Co-Curricular Record (CCR), awards, reference letters and any memorable emails you want to keep.
- Consider sharing your contact information with classmates.
- Send a thank-you note to your faculty or program contacts—your appreciation can go a long way, especially if you need a reference in the future.
Accessing the Student Portal After Graduation
After graduation, you still have limited access to the Student Portal to download important documents like tax forms, digital transcripts, and course outlines. If your access has expired, the Conestoga IT Service Desk can help you regain access. If you do not remember your login information, be prepared to provide information such as your student number, date of birth, home address, etc., for verification purposes. Email: itsdesk@conestogac.on.ca Phone: 519-748-5220 ext. 3444 Toll-free Phone: 1-866-636-4718
Tax Forms
T2202 (Tuition and Enrolment Certificate) tax forms are issued by the college in late February of the following year after you graduate and can be accessed through the Student Portal. To learn more, visit the Admissions website. If you were employed by the college during your studies, your Record of Employment and T4 (Statement of Remuneration Paid) will be mailed to the mailing address on the Employee Portal.
