Lexia
Congratulations to Magi, Rhys, Tristan, Ffion, John, Joslin and Jobitha for completing a level on Lexia.
Welshpool High School
Thank you to all pupils who came to sing at the Welshpool High School concert on Tuesday. You were a credit to the school.
Pupils in years 4 and 5 went to the high school on Wednesday to join other primary schools, listening to the high school concert band, singing together and playing their toots.
Parent Governor Vacancies
Unfortunately we received no nominations for the role of parent governor. Having a governing body is a statutory requirement for our school and they are responsible for the strategic direction of the school.
The date on the nomination letters and sent out with the newsletter on 28th June has been extended to Friday 19th July. Please consider volunteering for this role. If you are unsure what it entails, please speak to Mrs Fowler or one of our current governors. Thank you.
Summer Party
Please send in cakes/cup cakes for the summer party on Thursday. Children's tickets, £2 each, payable on the door - cash or card. Refreshments available. - please see poster below.
School Dinners - next week
There is a change of menu next week as the catering team prepare for the holidays. All pupils will need a packed lunch on Friday as the kitchen will be out of use due to building work. If you are unable to provide a packed lunch on Friday and would like the catering department to make one, please let the school know by Tuesday.
- Monday - cheese pizza, wedges or pasta & pudding
- Tuesday - sausages, potatoes or pasta, peas, carrots, gravy & pudding
- Wednesday - fish square, hash browns or pasta, peas or beans & pudding
- Thursday - chicken grill, wedges or pasta, sweetcorn or peas & pudding
- Friday - no meal available
Last day of term - non-uniform
Friday will be a non uniform day. Children should come in PE kit/trainers as there will be activities in the afternoon.
