B.O.S.'s individualized Athlete Development Training model focuses on improving technique, strength, conditioning, and overall athletic performance. After completing our Consultation Form, each athlete receives a personalized plan based on a thorough consultation which includes: a movement screening, performance evaluation and goal setting presentation. The plan also includes key elements such as optimizing sleep, mental preparation, nutrition, stability and mobility exercises, functional training, sport-specific skills, and advanced recovery techniques. This comprehensive approach includes a fully scripted (3 month) strength and conditioning programming & a custom 10 week sports nutrition plan with Jules Hindman to help athletes reach their full potential by aligning their efforts with their goals and their "True North."

Athlete Performance Camps

At B.O.S, our camps provide a comprehensive training program on the last Saturday of each month (2 hours in length), designed to enhance athletes' skills and performance. Our camps cater to different age groups and skill levels—Youth (ages 6-12) and Middle/High School (ages 13-18)—each featuring a mix of engaging and educational activities.

The first half of our program begins with an interactive presentation that explores the key components of athlete development. We start with a crucial movement and performance screening to identify strengths, weaknesses, and imbalances that could lead to the increased risk of injury. Following this assessment, we move into hands-on training that emphasizes mobility, dynamic warm-ups, functional drills, agility, and speed enhancement.

In the second half of the camp, athletes apply their skills in a competitive, spirited environment. This segment includes interactive combines that test their techniques, promote teamwork, and encourage sportsmanship.

Our expert coaches provide personalized attention, offering valuable feedback and take-home reports & exercises to support ongoing improvement. We also collect performance data during the camp to serve as benchmarks for tracking progress and setting future goals. This structured and enthusiastic approach helps participants not only refine their skills but also achieve measurable advancements in their athletic development.

We work with athletes of all abilities and sports backgrounds

D.I.S.C Personality and Team Communication

Clear communication is essential for sports teams, coaching staff, and administrators. It ensures that strategies and objectives are clearly conveyed and understood, which helps create a unified team.

The D.I.S.C. personality assessment offers insights into individual communication styles—dominant, influential, steady, or conscientious. By understanding these styles, coaches can provide more effective feedback, teammates can collaborate more effectively, and administrative staff can interact more smoothly.

Using D.I.S.C. assessments improves teamwork, boosts morale, and enhances overall performance by tailoring interactions to each person’s communication style.

BOS & Investments in Technology

Rapsodo Pitching Data

Rapsodo pitching technology provides real-time data on metrics such as velocity, spin rate, spin axis, and release point. This data helps pitchers and coaches refine techniques, improve pitch selection, and track progress. By highlighting strengths and weaknesses, Rapsodo supports better performance and strategic planning, revolutionizing pitching preparation and competition.

The Mustard APP

The Mustard pitching app offers advanced biomechanical analysis, tracking metrics like arm speed, arm slot, release point, and body positioning. It helps pitchers and coaches pinpoint inefficiencies, improve performance, and reduce injury risk. The app supports personalized training programs, enhancing development and aligning with modern data-driven approaches in baseball.

Motus Arm Sleeves

Motus arm sleeves are a key innovation in pitching technology, featuring sensors that track detailed metrics like arm speed, arm slot, elbow torque, and shoulder rotation. This real-time data helps pitchers and coaches optimize mechanics, reduce strain, and lower injury risk.

Slow Motion Video & Kinematic Sequencing Checkpoints

Slow-motion video technology has transformed pitching development by offering detailed insights into mechanics and technique. It captures high-frame-rate footage to analyze every aspect of a pitcher's delivery, allowing for precise adjustments that improve efficiency, velocity, and accuracy. This technology helps optimize pitching mechanics based on individual strengths and weaknesses, making it essential for competitive success.
Focus Band technology uses neurofeedback to optimize mental performance through a lightweight headband that monitors brain activity. It provides real-time feedback on focus, relaxation, and stress, helping athletes and performers enhance concentration and emotional control for improved performance and resilience.
