The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Doñana National Park is home to an impressive array of landscapes and wildlife, including the endangered Iberian lynx, the world's most endangered feline species and provides habitats for six million migratory birds each year.
But the threats to this National Park are still everywhere. Doñana could be added to UNESCO’s List of World Heritage in Danger unless immediate action is taken against multiple threats to the wetland.
This is the story of the ones who are given their lives to help protecting the park.
