Common Roots is a celebration and a recognition of the many ways in which wood turning has grown and evolved over thousands of years. Thanks to all who bid in the Bill Luce Collaboration Project auction: We raised $50,525! Proceeds from the auction will benefit the artists and the programs and initiatives of the American Association of Woodturners. We thank Monica Luce for her generosity in donating her husband’s unfinished works. Her interest and faith in this project was invaluable.

Admission is free. Open Wednesday to Friday and Sundays, 12-4.

The American Association of Woodturners Gallery of Wood Art features exhibitions of contemporary sculpture in wood, educational displays on the cultural history and technology of woodturning, a gallery gift store, Third Sunday demonstrations, and more.
