Welcoming the Sun Nursery, summer term, week 1

Welcome to Summer Term! It has been lovely welcoming the children back after the holidays. We had lots to catch up on during our snack time chats. There have been some special celebrations this week, Eid Mubarak to all!

We have very exciting news! We have started the Read Write Inc programme, which is a phonics programme that your child will be part of through EY's and Key Stage 1.

This week we are familiarising ourselves with the words for the pictures. Keep an eye out on Seesaw for more info!

Meanwhile, the children continue to love spending time looking at books and sharing stories together.

One day, the children might write books of their own. We've been working on mark-making and writing letters and numbers.
