Florida Southern College softball (11-31, 5-21 SSC) faced Nova Southeastern University (27-22, 13-14 SSC) in two closely contested games in Sunshine State Conference action, falling 4-2 in the first game on Friday afternoon and 7-1 in the second game later that day.
