About Keana Specht

Keana Specht is the founder of Oracle of Sky Realms Productions and Keana Sky Speaks Studios, creative platforms dedicated to storytelling, content creation, publishing, and authentic self-expression. She views storytelling as more than a profession, but as a vessel for clarity, connection, healing, and transformation. As a writer, author, editor, content creator, podcaster, and creative strategist, she focuses on helping others uncover, shape, and share their stories with intention and impact, blending traditional narrative craft with modern digital media and intuitive insight. Her work is deeply informed by her lived experience in recovery, which has strengthened her commitment to honesty, resilience, and the power of personal narrative as a tool for healing and rebuilding identity. Her journey is grounded in authenticity and evolution, shaped by the understanding that true success comes from alignment between creative vision, personal truth, and professional direction. She is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Fine Arts at Full Sail University, continuing to refine her voice and expand her practice across writing, publishing, and digital media. Intention Statement

June 11, 2026 As I embark on this 12-month academic journey within the Creative Writing MFA program at Full Sail University, my primary intention is to cultivate a disciplined, reflective practice that elevates both my craft and my creative leadership. This Mastery Journal will serve as a foundational tool for self-reflection, allowing me to track my progress, confront artistic challenges, and celebrate milestones honestly. Over the next year, I intend to lean into the vulnerability of the learning process, using each course as an opportunity to expand my technical writing skills, master digital media tools, and deepen my understanding of intuitive narrative design. By intentionally separating this space from my external branding efforts, I commit to using it as a private laboratory for raw creative growth and intellectual development. Throughout this program, I hope to achieve a higher level of mastery in bridging the gap between traditional literary prose and the evolving demands of modern digital content. My goal is to acquire a robust command of multi-platform storytelling, learning how to effectively utilize social and digital media tools to give my narratives a wider, more impactful reach. I am determined to challenge my boundaries by exploring diverse genres, refining my editing capabilities, and developing a structured, professional workflow that can sustain a lifelong career as a functioning author and creative strategist. This year is dedicated to transforming raw creative intuition into a precise, deliberate technical skill set. Ultimately, my intention for this Mastery Journey is to emerge not only as a more proficient writer, but as an empowered creative leader who can offer deep perspective and alignment through story. By the completion of this program, I aim to have built a comprehensive, high-quality professional portfolio and established a consistent habit of weekly reflection and creative production. I commit to staying inspired, utilizing the resources and research gathered here to fuel my passion even during times of academic rigor. This journal marks the beginning of a deliberate, structured evolution toward fulfilling my highest creative and professional potential.

When creating new realms of life in storytelling it is incredibly easy to get caught up in the rigid mechanics of plotting. Rimbaud's Quote is an amazing perspective and a beautiful disruption to that over analytical mindset. This validates my belief that storytelling is intuitive rather than logical. The concept of "alchemy" here reminds me that everything I have seen and felt is just not passive history. What I have seen is real and alive and I can use it as fuel. As I got through my current degree and courses at Full Sail this formula grounds me to my core. This quote says to me you do not have to go by a certain set of rules to create a compelling story. I feel that true alchemy lies in letting the raw materials of my own memory and observations just naturally fade into the work that I do. It is so inspiring to me and a great reminder to trust my gut over the grid. This allows the creative impulse to transform lived experiences into energy that is aligned and its a fresh new perspective for the reader. References Rimbaud, A. (1886). This resonates deeply with the core mission of Keana Sky Speaks Studios: Helping other uncover the story inside of them and then helping them to bring that story out into a form of light. Creating safe spaces that empower individuals to raise their voices requires a profound understanding of the resilience found in personal storytelling. When we finally release the untold story of the soul, we move past the rigid mindset and embrace the flow. This allows for clarity, connection and transformation.

Career Goal

My long-term career goal is to become a professional multi-genre writer and storyteller. I aim to work across novels, short stories, epic writing, scripts, and screenplays while building a sustainable creative career that allows me to share meaningful, transformative stories with a wide audience.

Graduation Goal

After graduation, my short-term goal is to continue developing my existing writing projects by refining and completing current manuscripts, preparing at least one work for publication or submission, and strengthening my professional presence as a working writer.

Steps

1. Continue existing writing projects across multiple formats (novels, short stories, scripts, screenplays, epic writing)
2. Revise and refine drafts through editing and feedback
3. Strengthen multi-genre writing skills and industry formatting knowledge
4. Maintain a consistent writing routine and schedule
5. Prepare work for publication, submission, or digital release
6. Build visibility through online platforms and creative sharing
7. Submit writing to publications, contests, or creative platforms

I will continue engaging with Full Sail University creative communities, writing groups, and online storytelling networks.
