This summer, students in the Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) have been diving into hands-on learning experiences that combine creativity, teamwork, and outdoor adventure.
From 4-H science experiments with acids and bases to churning their own butter, LPP participants are exploring new ideas and building real-world skills in fun and memorable ways.
Activities have included:
- Creating dog collars to support local animal shelters
- Practicing outdoor survival skills like fire and shelter building at the Rogers Environmental Education Center
- Strengthening friendships through team challenges and group projects
These experiences are designed to support problem-solving, confidence, and connection -- all while making the most of summer.
A big thank-you goes out to the staff, community partners, and volunteers who help make LPP a meaningful part of our students’ educational journey.
