WHO WE ARE
We are Brady and Elisabeth Thoresen! We met as students Virginia Tech, graduated and got married in 2022, and have been working on campus with students ever since.
We've loved calling Blacksburg home these past few years -- hiking, camping, and kayaking are some of our favorite parts.
Our family is growing! We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our daughter, Lily, who is due December 19th! Join us in praying for her health and above all else that she would know Jesus!
WHAT'S THE NEED?
In some of the most formative years of their lives, college students have a lot of things seeking their attention and competing for their hearts.
The current generation of students is showing more spiritual hunger than ever! With this increased interest in faith, the harvest is truly plentiful, and ripe, but the laborer are still few.
On a campus of nearly 40,000 students who will soon be working all over the world, there is opportunity to reach lost students and faculty with the Gospel and to train laborers to bring the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
BUT GOD IS ON THE MOVE!
Through local churches and campus ministries like Cru, college students around the world are hearing the Gospel and responding like never before!
Just last year (August '24 - May '25) at Virginia Tech, Cru saw over 300 students accept Jesus as their savior and begin their lifelong journey with Him!
