Last TIME OUT
- SMSU placed two individuals at the Dakota Wesleyan Open on Saturday afternoon.
- The open consisted of over 20 teams spanning across all levels of collegiate athletics including Division I, Division II, NAIA, and JUCO. Seven NSIC schools competed in the meet.
- SMSU had 23 individuals compete in the open on Saturday. Sean Howk and Adam Sylvester led the Mustangs by each placing fourth in their respective weight classes.
- Howk and Sylvester both went 4-2 on the day, with Howk picking up wins by major decision and decision before winning a pair of matches via sudden death/tie-breaker. Sylvester grabbed a win via fall.
- Elijah Sterner finished 4-2 and won a pair of matches via regular decision and one by fall. Kody Marschner ended the day 3-2 grabbing a pair of wins by tech fall, and Tate Condezo posted a 3-2 mark with all three wins coming via fall.
- The Mustangs accumulated 41 wins total including nine wins via fall, seven by tech fall, and a pair of via major decision.
