Today was a nice and relaxing rest day. We could finally sit down for the Hôtel buffet breakfast without time constraints, nor have to pack our bags ready for the daily baggage service to transport our bags between each town.
When we did finally get out and about, we headed for the beach for a swim and then a ramble taking in some of the sites and beaches before heading back for dinner.
We met our amigos for our final celebratory dinner and marvelled at our achievements. It’s been a challenging but rewarding walk with such a variety of scenery, with the highlights being of the coastal views.
We now leave our amigos as they chase more beach time in exotic locations, whilst we’ll chase the heat in some more Spanish cities so we can dream of frosty mornings in Melbourne! (Well that might be a bit extreme - the dreaming part)
