Week of March 10-14, 2025
Principal Message
On Thursday we had our Demonstration of Learning! It was a lovely day celebrating each student in our school community. The energy, positivity and having families in the building was so wonderful. Thank you to all our parents who were able to attend. Our staff are so proud of our students and their accomplishments.
Reminder that registration is underway. If you have not completed your pre enrolment status for next year, please do so right away.
The warmer weather has arrived; Spring is just around the corner!
With gratitude,
Mrs. Carr-Jeschke & Mrs. McNamee
Staffing Update
We have a couple of staffing changes that will be in effect as of March 31, 2025.
Mrs. McNamee will remain in her roles as Acting Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach until the end of June 2025.
Mrs. Sporns has made the decision to transition from her current role at the school. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, expertise and flexibility in supporting the Grade 4 class. While we knew her time with us would be temporary, she made a lasting impact on our students and the school community.
Ms.Zahary will be assuming the role of full-time Grade 4 teacher following Spring Break. Ms. Zahary is excited to continue working with the Grade 4 students and is committed to ensuring a smooth transition.
For the last three months of the school year, Mrs. Rouchelle Newell will be taking over the role of Music teacher for Grades 1-6. We are excited to welcome Mrs. Newell to the St. Paul community!
Alberta Assurance Survey
Alberta Education will again be conducting their annual survey of grades 4 to 10 students and their parents or guardians. The survey will gather important information about students’ and parents’ school experiences and will help to inform continuous improvement in our education system.
Survey participants will be asked questions on a variety of topics, including:
• welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environments;
• student learning engagement; and
• parental involvement in their children’s education.
Survey participants are not required to provide their names or personal details, and all survey responses are confidential. An envelope with all information was provided to parents; please take a moment to provide your feedback. Please note these surveys are online and the last day to complete is Friday March 21, 2025.
