UNFCCC Official Side Event hosted by the Friends of the Ocean and Climate, Ocean Conservancy and Transport and Environment will focus on mobilizing concrete ocean-based climate action and encouraging Parties to include and implement ocean-based climate solutions in their NDCs, NAPs, and other national climate plans.
It will focus on encouraging Parties to include concrete ocean-based climate mitigation actions, such as actions to reduce emissions from international shipping, plastic pollution and increase offshore renewables, in their climate strategies, including in the next round of NDCs.
