- A total of 1,693 students will be recognized for their on-time degree completion during TAMIU's Student Success Wall ceremony Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 3 p.m. on the second floor of the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center. This year, the names of 412 sophomores, 577 juniors and 704 seniors were added to the permanent display. Kudos to the students! Learn more about the ceremony here.
- TAMIU students have a reason to celebrate this Tuesday, Nov. 14 and Wednesday, Nov. 15 over the course of 1970 minutes or 33 hours! This time frame marks TAMIU's Giving Day, an annual campaign that’s been part of TAMIU’s fundraising efforts on behalf of its students, faculty, and programs since 2015. Donors from all over the world can participate in Giving Day by visiting www.tamiu.edu/givingday/. The online giving form is quick, safe, and easy to use. Giving Day is Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. to Wednesday, Nov. 15 to 5 p.m. Learn more about it here.
- Students, remember Registration for TAMIU's Wintermester and Spring 2024 courses continue online via UConnect. Registration is open for all students, undergraduate and graduate. - The words of the world’s best-known playwright, William Shakespeare, will again echo at Texas A&M International University’s (TAMIU) Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Theatre. A total of two back-to-back evening performances will take place on Monday, Nov. 20 with a performance of the timeless romantic tragedy of “Romeo and Juliet,” followed by a performance of Shakespeare's Greatest Hits on Tuesday, Nov. 21. TAMIU Giving Day Supports Student-Centered Efforts, Happening Nov. 14 - 15
TAMIU's Giving Day, an annual campaign that’s been part of TAMIU’s fundraising efforts on behalf of its students, faculty, and programs since 2015, begins Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 8 a.m. and continues through Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 5 p.m. A flurry of projects seek support this Giving Day, including the University’s Athletics Department, Ballet Folkórico, Dusty’s Food Pantry, International Engagement, Leadership Programs, Reading the Globe, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, the Student Emergency Fund, the Student Nurses’ Association, TAMIU Alumni Association, TAMIU DustyMotors and TAMIU DustyTRON Robotics.
