What a fun-filled week it’s been in Year 1!
On Monday, we kicked off the week with an exciting trip to Washington Wetlands. We became Guardians of the Wild and learned all about how to take care of our local wildlife. The sun was shining and we even had time to enjoy some fun and games in the park – smiles all round!
In Maths, we explored the concept of mass. The children had a brilliant time using scales to compare different objects and describe whether they were heavier or lighter. Lots of hands-on learning and great discussions!
On Thursday, we hosted another Star Lunch! This special treat was for the superstars who earned a star this term by showing one of our school values. It was a lovely way to celebrate their efforts – well done to all of them!
On Friday we enjoyed PE in the gorgeous sunshine!
