- 🌸 What’s a Pollinator Habitat — and Why Does It Matter?
- This land isn’t just pretty — it’s part of a much bigger picture. We’ve chosen to keep things wild here on purpose, and that means no pesticides, lots of native plants, and plenty of space for butterflies, bees, birds, and other wildlife to thrive.
- Pollinators (like hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies) help plants grow fruits, seeds, and berries — food that supports the entire ecosystem, including us. By planting what they need and skipping chemicals, we’re helping them do their job and making this land part of the solution. You’ll see native flowers blooming from spring through fall, plus plants chosen to feed monarch caterpillars, provide nesting for bees, and give migrating birds a snack break. We even have a list of Arkansas-native plants if you want to start your own habitat at home.
