All-Region Jazz Auditions

The All-Region Jazz Contest is coming up next week and audition times are in for the students participating. Auditions will take place at Rushing Middle School on the evening of Tuesday 1/20.

Students who make the band will participate in the Clinic and Concert on Saturday January 24th at Rock Hill High School. Specifics will be handed out on Wednesday for students who make the band.

Weekly Objectives for all students

All students in the Rogers Band Program are given weekly objectives which are listed on the back of their practice records. Different objectives may require different submissions. For example, some may be taken during sectionals, while others are chair tests in class or attendance to an event. All weekly objectives and submission details are notated on the back of each students practice record/objective sheet.

Attention 8th Graders

As you are starting to fill out your course selections for next year let us know if you have any questions. We know a lot of how the Walnut Grove schedules are put together and can answer a lot of your questions while you are working over picking classes these next few weeks.   Parents, please attend Walnut Grove High School Band 101 on January 21, 2026 at 6:00pmin the WGHS Band Hall. Mr. Brumley will provide families information about high school band. This is especially important for students on the fence to help make an informed decision about HS class choices.
