Skill Evaluations
Skill Evaluations enable you to complete short guided self-assessments to assess your confidence in various skills. After finishing the assessment, LinkedIn Learning will provide you with three personalised course recommendations on topics related to your chosen skill, tailored to your proficiency level.
There are 42 Skill Evaluations available for in-demand skills such as web development, data analytics, WordPress, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, communication, time management, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Skill Evaluations are designed to guide your learning, and as a result, your results will not be shared with anyone, including the University or your LinkedIn network.
Connecting your LinkedIn Profile
Did you know that by connecting your personal LinkedIn profile to your Learning account, you can access a range of extra features on LinkedIn Learning? These include in-course Q&As and live webinars with industry experts. You'll also be able to quickly share course completion certificates or recommendations to your LinkedIn profile and receive personalised recommendations based on your LinkedIn activity.
As well as the above benefits, connecting your accounts also ensures your learning history is retained and can be transferred to another account after leaving the University.
If you haven't connected your LinkedIn profile yet, you can do so by logging into LinkedIn Learning and selecting Me > Settings > Connect my LinkedIn account.
