Pam Goetting has some exciting updates with Goering Center Roundtables that will help keep you and your team on the right track in maximizing efficiency in your business.

Pamela "Pam" Goetting, Roundtable Program & Volunteer Coordinator, The Goering Center for Family and Private Business

Eager to learn more about Goering Center roundtables? Join us for a complimentary Roundtable Overview on July 10 at the Goering Center. We'll provide a brief description of the roundtable process, followed by a sample session led by moderator Rik Vonderhaar that highlights the features and benefits of roundtable membership.

Based on interest generated by our ESOP program in June, the Goering Center is forming an ESOP Roundtable. The group's first meeting will be held in early August, with Tim Rettig of Intrust IT Services as moderator. Companies that are Goering Center members and actively engaged in the ESOP process are welcome to join us!

Wishing that we offered a roundtable with a Northern Kentucky connection? If you are a family or private business located in NKY/Southern Ohio, we'd like to convene a new group to support each other in these challenging times, sharing best practices and actively engaging employees. John Zurborg, previously CEO of Skilcraft, has been a longtime advocate of the Goering Center through our programs like Principles Course, Leadership Development Institute, Business Board Institute and many more. Now as a FocalPoint business coach, John is excited to serve as moderator for this new roundtable. Please contact Pam Goetting at pamela.goetting@uc.edu if you are interested in this new roundtable.

Upcoming Events

July 10 - Complimentary Overview: Roundtables - 8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - In-person

The Complimentary Overview is an opportunity for participants to experience a "trial" Roundtable meeting to see if joining one is right for them. They provide an opportunity for collaborative peer sharing about strategic and tactical business issues, within the larger context of your personal and family concerns. Consider this your very own board of advisors, whose number-one goal is to help you restore balance.

July 17 - Complimentary Overview: Pricing Power - 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Virtual

The Complimentary Overview is an opportunity to understand how Pricing Power can help deliver high-impact results for your business. Learn how to grow your confidence to overcome price objections, become adept at rolling out price increases to customers, and expert at selling the true value of your services or products. This five-part series will arm you with the methods, messaging, tools, and confidence to negotiate from a position of power and strength.

Aug. 1 - Complimentary Overview: Principles Course - 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - In-person

Learn how to make the most of your Goering Center membership and be sure to bring along key employees and/or any family members working in the business. This 90-minute program is more than an orientation to the Center and its core offerings, it is your opportunity to meet other new members, build your network, and become part of our business community.

Aug. 6 - Pricing Power - 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Virtual

Most pricing decisions are made from fear, not from confidence. Most sellers don’t price to win business; they price not to lose. Join us this August for a five-part Pricing Power Series that will arm you with the methods, messaging, tools, and confidence to negotiate from a position of power and strength. This program, heavily focused on application and practice for maximum impact, will help you gain confidence overcoming price objections, become adept at rolling out price increases to customers, and become experts at selling the true value of your services or products.

Aug. 8 - Title TBD - 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - In-person
