We love documenting all the little details of life with a newborn, so we offer these packages to help parents capture those fleeting memories easily – and also so they too can be in the photos instead of always taking them!
There are three different packages to choose from (with either a total of 3, 4, or 5 separate sessions), starting with a maternity session and ending with the first birthday.
The year-long package culminates in a gorgeous Heirloom quality photo book highlighting all the favorites from baby's first year of photo sessions.
First 48 sessions are so named because they refer to those first 48 hours with a new baby. Whether you give birth in a hospital and would like us there to document those first amazing moments, or if you give birth at a birth center or at home -- we can be there right away or soon after to capture footprints and weighing, first meetings, baby's first nursing, and all the other wondrous moments with your newborn. We will come for approximately two hours and you can expect about 50 final images.
We like to do newborn sessions around 2-3 weeks. These sessions are quite similar to the First 48, though baby will usually be more alert and looking around at things. Lots of tiny details will be captured in these sessions, and of course snuggles with your new little one. We plan on about two hours to leave time for diaper changes and feedings, and we will deliver about 50 final images.
Around 3 months, baby is much more active, and though she will still be on her back or tummy, we can get lots of great shots interacting with her and also details of tiny toes, rolls on the thighs, and those tiny hands with a lot more control than she had as a newborn. Also little clothing items, toys, nursery decor are fun to document, as well as nursing, bath time, cuddles, and other family members or friends interacting with baby. About two hours, 50+ final images.
Once baby is sitting up around 6 months, we can really get some activity and interaction as she explores the world around her. Usually she will have favorite toys, books, and other items by this time, she might be eating solid foods, etc — and these things will elicit lots of great expressions that we can capture! These sessions can be done in your home or at a location of your choice, about one hour, 30+ images.
At about 9 months, your baby might already be crawling all over the place and we can get some great images not only of her movement and exploration, but of your interactions with her as she becomes more mobile. And then around 12 months, we will likely see more crawling or perhaps assisted standing– maybe even walking! – and of course celebrating that ultimate milestone, the FIRST BIRTHDAY! The 9 month and 12 month sessions are each about one hour and yield about 30 final images each.
All packages include a custom designed photo book with images from each session to really tell the story of that amazing first year with your baby.

Video can be added to any session to create a truly magical "fusion film" of both video and still images set to music. For a 2-3 minute “fusion film,” add $475. For a 5-7 minute film add $675. Please ask to see sample films.
Single sessions
First 48 Session: $475 -- At the birth location with your new baby or in your home, done within 48 hours of birth. Capture the thrill of a fresh new baby with me arriving immediately or very soon after the birth. Perfect for photos with family members meeting the baby the first time. 50+ full resolution, hand-edited digital images
Documentary Style Newborn Session: $475 -- Two hour in-home session, 1-3 weeks after birth, capturing all the emotions and tiny details of having a new little family member. 50+ full resolution, hand-edited digital images
Maternity Session: $425 -- Up to two hours and two clothing changes. 30+ full resolution digital images
