Dear All / Annwyl Bawb,
Attendance & Lateness
We are really proud to celebrate our good attendance in Catwg - regularly achieving over 93% each week which puts us in the top 5 schools across the county! Our aim is to beat our previous week, every week i.e. if we achieved 93% this week, next week we'd aim for 94%. Similarly, if we notice that Friday afternoons are a little low, we'd aim to improve this!
At the moment, we notice that Lateness is a cause for concern. Whilst we appreciate that many of our pupils drive into school and traffic can be challenging, our pupils really benefit from arriving on time everyday - during the first 15 or so minutes of the day, many important tasks are undertaken such as reading, basic number and spelling challenges.
The school day starts at 8.50am, so please make every effort to attend before the start of the school day! Diolch!
Wonderful Wild Things!
Pre-School Outdoor Playgroup with Mrs Thomas - please spread the word of this incredible playgroup we are proud to offer!
