TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Terms of Trading - 2025 Bell Tent Hire UK are a professional Bell Tent Hire Company. We have a Health & Safety Policy, Public Liability Insurance and a Full Comprehensive Risk Assessment has been carried out.
2. These terms and conditions are your agreement with Bell Tent Hire Scotland. Upon Confirmation of a booking you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditons of Hire. ​
3. Equipment is defined as the bell tent and all its furnishings Bell Tent Hire UK will provide the hirer with a confirmation of booking within five working days of the receipt of the clients deposit and booking form.
4. Bell Tent Hire UK will deliver and erect the agreed equipment, to the agreed address, on the agreed delivery date and time agreed between hirer and client.
5. If Bell Tent Hire Scotland are excessively busy the delivery time may be changed in agreement with the hirer.
6. Bell Tent Hire UK will dismantle and remove the equipment from the site on the agreed date and time as agreed by between the hirer and Bell Tent Hire Scotland.
7. Bell Tent Hire UK will provide equipment that is in good working order.
8. Conditions of Hire:
9. The hirer accepts full responsibility for the safety of the bell tent equipment and the safety of any person who makes use of the bell tent for the duration of the hire period.
10. The hirer is responsible for the safety and security of the bell tent from the date of the bell tent installation to their removal from the site.
11. Cats/Dogs or any other animals are not permitted inside the bell tent.
12. The hirer will take all reasonable steps to make sure that the equipment is not at any time altered or interfered with.
13. Any damage caused to the bell tents and its equipment and furnishings will be solely the clients fault and will be invoiced for the damaged caused.
14. The hirer takes full responsibility for the actions of third parties that cause safety issues or fire risks and consequences that result from such risks.
15. Any fire or barbecue or fire bowl must be situated at least 20 feet away from the bell tent and must be extinguished when un-attended.
16. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE bell tents.
17. The hirer will book a pitch that is accessible for BELL TENT HIRE UK to access their vehicles and erect the tents.
18. If BELL TENT HIRE UK are given false information regarding the site and cannot access it the contract may be terminated.
19. The grass should be cut short and no overhanging tree branches should be above the pitch site.
20. No fires, cigarettes, candles or any cooking equipment are allowed inside the bell tents. We may supply electric candles in certain tents if required.
21. Occasionally in torrential wet and windy conditions the bell tent may let in a small amount of water. This can happen as the canvas weave tightens, the window zips are left open, the zips on the doors are not securely closed and the bell tent vents are facing into the wind.
22. If the weather conditions are very windy/gusty please check the guy ropes regularly and make sure the pegs are secured into the ground.
23. All doors should be closed and secured when the hirer leaves the Bell tent.
24. The equipment remains the sole property of Bell Tent Hire UK at all times and the hirer is prohibited from hiring, selling or parting possession from the equipment for the duration of the hire period.
25. Whilst Bell Tent Hire UK will always do its best to ensure that you enjoy the use of its bell tent, Bell Tent Hire UK cannot be held responsible for bad weather or acts of God. If we are unable to pitch due to flooding and/or windy weather with gusts exceeding 25mph an alternative date will be offered. No refunds will be offered.
26. When you vacate the tent please zip up the doors and windows.
27. The bell tent is not to be used in excessive wind speeds and should be evacuated if this is the case.
28. A deposit is required to secure the bell tent booking and must be received no later than 7 days after the booking is made. If the deposit is not received within the given time the bell tent may be booked by another party. If more time is needed to pay the deposit then please make me aware of this.
29. If, due to unforseen circumstances, cancellation is necessary, the following conditions apply:- Cancellations made 31 days before the event a full refund minus 20% admin costs or alternative date will be offered. Cancellations made 30 - 20 days before the start of the event - a 50% refund of the deposit or an alternative date will be offered. No refund will be made if the booking is cancelled less than 19 days or less from the rental start date of the event or the client(s) is unable to attend the event for whatever reason. We must receive the cancellation notice in writing on the day the event is cancelled.
30. In the event of Bell Tent Hire UK being unable to provide the service due to cancellation of the festival/event through no fault of its own, for example due to festival cancellation, pandemics, weather, flooding, terrorist activities, or other causes outside the control of Bell Tent Hire UK the same cancellation policies will apply.
31. Clients are expected to take out their own insurance against such possibilities stated above.
32. If a late booking is made within 14 days of the event taking place we require full payment upon booking.
33. If paypal is your preferred method of payment please note you will be charged the paypal fee.
