What a fantastic start to the term! It’s been wonderful to see students settling in, getting to know their teachers and classmates, and embracing new learning opportunities. A big thank you to everyone who attended our Meet the Teacher evening—it was great to see so many of you there.
We are well underway with our structured literacy and maths programmes, and students are engaging enthusiastically. With the warm, sunny days, we’re also making the most of outdoor activities. Here’s to a great term ahead!

Year 4 Warriors Training
Last month our Year 4 classes got to work with four members of the Warriors Community Foundation. The children had a fun session learning skills and doing drills.
Mini trampolines for Rooms 12, 13 & 14
A huge thank you to Honsa Zubek and the team at Air Liquide for generously donating two mini trampolines to Rooms 12, 13, and 14! These trampolines will provide our students with valuable movement breaks, helping them stay focused and engaged throughout the school day. We truly appreciate your support!
Year 5 Tennis Lessons Serve Up Fun!
Year 5 students hit the courts for an exciting tennis session, racquets in hand and full of enthusiasm. They practiced drills, honed their skills, and had a fantastic time rallying with friends. The session was filled with energy, laughter, and plenty of impressive shots—what a great way to learn and stay active! 🎾
Thanks to Coach Matthew from Auckland Tennis for working with our Year 5 students over the next couple of weeks. Our Year 6 classes will have a turn later in the term.

Building Work Update
- Very soon work is going to begin on concreting some new paths to link the relocated block with the existing pathways.
- Work continues on finishing touches for the relocated block of classrooms. They are currently boarding over the base of each classroom.
- Temporary fencing will be placed across the end of the field to allow tree work to be done. This will make more field space for us to use later in the year.
- Workers are removing all the debris from the site where the classrooms originally were. Once this is done, the site will be prepared ready for the Stage 1 Junior College Building Project.
Exciting Playground Update!
We are thrilled to announce that a brand new playground will be installed for our Year 4, Year 5, and Year 6 students! We are eagerly looking forward to seeing this new playground take shape in the coming months. As part of the upcoming developments, the current Year 4/5/6 playground will be removed when Stage 1 of the Junior College construction begins. Stay tuned for more updates as we move forward with this exciting project!
School Logo Refresh
Exciting News: A New Logo for Our Growing School!
Our school is evolving, and with the exciting addition of a new Junior College, we believe it’s the perfect time to refresh our logo. Our current design is based on geography, but as our campus expands, key landmarks like the Downs and the Chapel are no longer visible.
We want a logo that truly reflects our core values—Care, Nurture, Educate—and we are working with a professional design company to bring this vision to life. However, we want you, our school community, to be part of this journey!
Stay tuned for ways to share your ideas and feedback as we develop the new design. Together, we’ll create a logo that represents our school’s bright future!
