Important KSU Websites

This site is your home for all things KSU. It links you to lots of important KSU websites and provides information about parking, upcoming events, resources, and more! Ellie's Tip: Bookmark this site or even set it as your home page!

The Academic Calendar lists important dates for the current and upcoming semesters. Want to know when finals are? Check this calendar! Wondering about first day of class or holiday break? Check this calendar. Unsure of the payment deadline? That's on the Academic Calendar, too!

DegreeWorks acts as a checklist for your degree. It shows you the classes you've completed and the ones you need to take in order to graduate. You'll use DegreeWorks with your Academic Advisor to track degree progress and make plans for future semesters. Ellie's Tip: DegreeWorks is great, but don't forget to also meet with your Academic Advisor at least once per semester. Your advisor is even better than DegreeWorks, so take advantage of their major-specific knowledge! Keep scrolling for a link to your advising office (varies by major).

Owl Express is used to access registration, courses schedules, and grades. Owl Express also provides you with an easy and secure method of accessing your student records and financial aid information. There's a graduation tab in Owl Express, too, for when the time comes!

Academic program maps offer suggested four-year schedules for all of KSU's degree programs. Each map provides a sample schedule each term, including milestones, to help keep you on track for graduation! Ellie's Tip: Unsure what you want to major in? Look through the program maps to see if the courses you'd take in the major(s) you're considering actually interest you!

D2L is where you'll access course content, submit assignments, participate in discussions, communicate with instructors, take quizzes/exams, and more. You have access to a special PFL page on D2L, too! Ellie's Tip: D2L is an important site, especially if you're in online or hybrid classes. Bookmark D2L and check it daily!
