Our Story
In 1986, our father, Matin, opened The Last Viceroy with a vision born from his deep passion for food. A talented and creative chef, Matin was also beloved by the local community.
Growing up, we were fortunate to experience Matin's cooking in a way few others could. Our kitchen at home was forever filled with tantalizing aromas as we sampled his countless creations over the years. Through his passion, we learned to appreciate, cook, and truly enjoy good food.
My brother and I now have the privilege of bringing The Last Viceroy back under family stewardship. Ali's secret methods might have been lost if not for the chefs who worked alongside him. These dedicated individuals have helped us to recover his recipes and trained us in their correct preparation.
We've worked tirelessly to revive those special flavours that made The Last Viceroy a local favourite. Our commitment is to share them with our guests, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish we serve.
We hope you enjoy your experience at The Viceroy and thank you for dining with us!
