Workshop Details
Join us for 3 days of fantastic music-making and learning where participants have the opportunity to conduct the Oregon Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and Chamber Winds. This year, we are thrilled to welcome Sarah McKoin to work with our participants. Whether you are teaching middle school, high school, or looking at a professional career as a conductor, we have specific repertoire geared towards your strengths and that give you an opportunity to take new skills back to your respective programs. Participants will receive feedback about their conducting as well as rehearsal techniques from the UO band faculty and our esteemed guest Sarah McKoin. In addition, participants and observers attend a debrief at Sweet Cheeks Winery for appetizers and wine pairings. Participation is limited to 20 conductors so be sure to register as soon as possible!
