The University of Oregon Conducting Workshop May 29–May 31, 2025

Workshop Details

Join us for 3 days of fantastic music-making and learning where participants have the opportunity to conduct the Oregon Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and Chamber Winds. This year, we are thrilled to welcome Jason Fettig to work with our participants. Whether you are teaching middle school, high school, or looking at a professional career as a conductor, we have specific repertoire geared towards your strengths and that give you an opportunity to take new skills back to your respective programs. Participants will receive feedback about their conducting as well as rehearsal techniques from the UO band faculty and our esteemed guest, Jason Fettig. In addition, participants and observers attend a debrief at Sweet Cheeks Winery for appetizers and wine pairings. Participation is limited to 20 conductors, so be sure to register as soon as possible!

We are honored to welcome Director of Bands at the University of Michigan, Jason Fettig. Work with him throughout this unique educational experience.
