I made a postcard from Houston, Texas. This was one of my first photoshop projects, and I learned that it is harder than I anticipated. My goal was to create a postcard that encapsulated Texas itself. I feel happy about my results, of course, however, it could have been better. I hope my audience can appreciate the hard work, and is able to truly visualize Houston.
I made a horror movie poster featuring a made-up create called "The Goo-Goo Muck." I learned a lot of different techniques from making this poster, and it was one of my hardest projects. My goal was to visualize a song titled "The Goo-Goo Muck." The monster is how I imagine the monster they wrote about. I am very happy about how the poster turned out. I hope my audience can feel motivated to create their own movie idea.
I made a photo montage about a girl who is so focused on how other women look, that she c creates unrealistic expectations for herself. I learned about how detrimental social media can be for the human mind while making this project. My goal was to highlight how social media creates unattainable standards for women, and girls shouldn't compare themselves to others. I am extremely satisfied with how my project turned out, and I hope my audience can perhaps learn to love themselves a little more after seeing it.
I created a book cover based off of my favorite book, They Both Die At The End. I learned about how to create a good book cover, and I learned how to make a mock up. My goal was to make a book cover that did justice to the book, while also staying original. I am pretty happy with how my project turned out, but in the end I wish I had perhaps used some different colors. I hope my audience is implored to read the book after seeing my art.
