Growing up as a first-generation woman of color in the vibrant and diverse community of South Central Los Angeles, I’ve always been surrounded by stories waiting to be told.My journey into photography began with an insatiable desire to freeze time and share moments with those who might not have the opportunity to experience them firsthand. Whether it’s the serene stillness of a dawn-lit mountain range or the dynamic energy of city life, my goal is to bring the emotions I felt while taking each image to you, the viewer.
In 2020, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (not in the arts), but my passion for photography never waned. Recognizing the need to follow my true calling, I returned to school in 2021 to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. This decision has allowed me to immerse myself in the craft I love and refine my ability to convey powerful narratives through visual art.
While landscape photography is my primary focus, I also explore other genres, capturing everything from the subtle details of life to the candid moments of everyday people.
