The Agora Cyprus CURATED ESCAPES

DELVE DEEPER INTO CYPRUS

FEBRUARY 6, 2025 . . . Often what connects us to a place goes far beyond where we stay and why. At The Agora Hotel, we encourage and help ensure our guests delve deeper into their holiday destination. Set within the village of Lefkara, at the foot of the Troödos Mountains in Cyprus, The Agora Hotel is the perfect base from which to explore and discover the island and its many treasures.

Danish co-founders, Emilie Green Novél and Aleksander Eng, have created the first independent boutique hotel on the island. The Agora offers 18 elegantly designed accommodations that blend contemporary comfort with a cool, calming aesthetic. Restaurant Novél & The Bar, and a beautifully designed courtyard and pool, all deliver thoughtful details that travelers love.

For guests who wish to explore the island and delve deeper into Cyprus, the hotel team can assist in arranging guided tours or direct you to options on how to explore on your own. Discover a deep history along with rich cultural traditions. Suggestions have been created for visitors that will help forge a bond between both this special place and its people.

Simply stepping outside the door of The Agora, you are immersed in a UNESCO Cultural Heritage village known for its traditional lace-making and the art of silversmithing. The cobbled stone streets of the charming village invite you to explore and discover the hidden gems of shops showcasing these local crafts. For a more hands-on approach, guests can attend workshops to learn more about these heritage skills and how they shaped the village.
