A traditional porridge, which we often eat during rainy days, or colder weathers. This dish is very simple, but gives a sense of comfort and warmth.
Ingredients:
- 100gr White Rice
- 500ml Water
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1/2 Tsp Chicken Stock Powder
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 1Tbsp Fresh Ginger
- 1/2Tsp Salt
- 1/2Tsp Ground Pepper
Directions:
Simply wash the rice until water becomes clear, then combine all of the ingredients in a covered pot or rice cooker. If using rice cooker, set to porridge settings. If using pot, simmer under low heat for 30-60 minutes, or until it reaches a puree consistency (the longer you boil, the thicker it will be). Once done, whisk together. Serve warm.
