This Week at Evergreen
We live in a world connected by screens, yet so many of us feel deeply alone. In this new series on community, we’ll explore why we long for belonging, what keeps us from committing, and how Jesus invites us into a family where we are fully known and loved. Join us as we rediscover the life we were made for—together.

Artist Statement: In Matthew 22 of the Bible, Jesus teaches a parable pointing to the heavenly Wedding Feast. A Father is hosting a wedding banquet for his Son and invites influential and notable people of society. In addition, he sends his servants out to give invitations to people who are marginalized, those traveling on highways, both good and bad. The Good News is that God values and finds all people worthy of an invitation to salvation, through Jesus. How can our tables give a foretaste of heavenly community, demonstrating inclusion and grace to all peoples?

Men and women are welcome, and all programming is planned in advance, facilitated by Kids Ministry Director Chris Vredevoogd. Check out the link below to select dates.
Youth groups for 3rd-12th grade meet weekly September-April. Contact Chris (chris@egm.org) for questions about 3rd-5th grade and Jesse (jesse@egm.org) for questions regarding 6th-12th grade.

Giving at Evergreen
You can find ways to give to Evergreen in a variety of ways. As you consider your giving, know that, as always, all tithes and offerings go to support our youth ministries (birth-12th grade), recovery, the arts (music, drama, visual arts, dance), multiple outreaches, and many more ministries. If you are interested in giving to the work we are doing, you can do so by clicking the link below.
4 Corners Offering
For September and October, our 4 corners offering partner is Kids Coalition Against Hunger. Their mission is to significantly reduce the number of hungry and starving children both in the USA and around the world.
