Our students volunteered at the St. Tammany Parish Animal Shelter in Lacombe for our November SOUL Saturday. They were trained, and helped with the socialization of the dogs and cats. Students 10 and older are invited to volunteer by calling 985-809-0183 . The STPAS is still in need of donations, especially newspapers. Here is their Amazon wishlist if you would like to make a donation: https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/3AFODJ5BVUTBX?ref=gr_search_page_result

Our 6th grade students took a walking field trip to the Covington Cemetery. Students learned about the history of Covington, complete with a scavenger hunt and grave rubbings. St. Peter 6th grade students have been taking this field trip for many, many years thanks to long-time St. Peter teacher, Mrs. Jane Maher. Mrs. Maher still volunteers weekly helping our students prepare for their readings at Mass.
Thank you to everyone who supported our wonderful Staff Appreciation Thanksgiving Lunch today! Everything was delicious!
