Otselic Valley’s fourth graders recently embarked on an unforgettable learning adventure with a live performance of Journey to the Center of the Earth, presented by The REV Theatre Company.
This exciting adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic tale blended science, storytelling, and imagination in a way that captivated students from start to finish. As “young scientists,” students became part of the story -- cracking secret codes, exploring lava tubes, and discovering an underground sea teeming with prehistoric creatures.
The interactive performance not only brought literature to life, but also encouraged curiosity, teamwork, and creativity. Experiences like this help students see the connections between art, science, and storytelling in a memorable way.
