BEFORE YOU READ | The boys varsity lacrosse team took on Stoney Creek for the home opener on Mar. 19. Despite the 0-20 loss, all players could compete in the game, which led to an understanding of who works best in specific positions.

FOCUSING ON IMPROVEMENT | After a tough home opener, sophomore Levi Olsey is confident that consistent effort and paying attention to the finer details will help the team improve in future games. “Working hard in practice and paying attention to small details goes a long way,” Olsey said.

TEAM POTENTIAL | Even with the loss, junior Aiden Selenica remains confident in the team’s potential. He believes that with constant work, the team can reach new heights. “We have a lot of talent and all the guys have the required work ethic to improve,” Selenica said.

TURNING UP THE HEAT | The team embraces a renewed focus on team dynamics to drive future success, according to senior Teagan Harbin. Excited about the vibrant energy within the group, Harbin believes that their unique synergy will be a key factor in overcoming early setbacks. “Our team chemistry this season is fairly spicy,” Harbin said.

BUILDING TEAM CHEMISTRY | As the season progresses, senior Cameron DuCharme emphasizes the importance of strong communication both on and off the field. He believes this has helped improve the team’s chemistry and overall performance. “We’ve put a lot of effort into communication this year,” DuCharme said. “It’s strengthened our chemistry. Most of us get along and cooperate pretty well.”

GROWTH WHILE HAVING FUN | While focusing on growth and enjoying the game, sophomore Johnny Cueter looks forward to improving not only as an individual player but also as a whole team. He believes that fostering a positive atmosphere will help drive their success. “I’m looking forward to improving as a team and overall just having fun together,” Cueter said.
