This poster was made to help spread the word about the 988 help line. This line is a crisis hotline that can help people by calling for texting the number 988. I used a geometric design for the background and a bright color scheme to grab people’s attention. The people are to show that anyone can call and people are working hard to help others.
This piece was made to show how much has changed through the forms of listening to music as well as a change in instruments. I used a dull colored background to draw attention to the main parts of the piece. Most of what I used was a screen print style which can give parts of the piece a lot of detail.
This piece was to show that humans are mainly responsible for climate change. This is shown through the hand that holds a flame. I used another screen print style to add some detail as well as some seamless pattern for the background. I also used a dramatic color scheme to try and show the severity of the situation.
The idea of this piece started as a joke that I made with my friends. I wanted to use an old western theme that made the typography a little more interesting. I used a font that played into this theme as well as textured stars to match the style of the font. The background was meant to be textured to show that paper used for posters back then was made differently.
This poster was made to commemorate a band that I have been listening to since I was very young. Their music means a lot to me so I wanted them to be a main part of the piece. I used another screen print style for the band itself. I used a liquify filter for the background and text so that they matched. The color scheme is based off their debut album “Three Imaginary Boys”.
