These webinars have been designed by educators, for educators and focus on bringing digital creativity into all subjects and year level learning environments. You'll learn new creative and digital skills that build students' capacity, and agency, to demonstrate learning in a variety of media modes.

July 31, 4 pm - 4.45 pm (AEST): Taking Videos to the Next Level with Premier Pro

Video is often the most common media tool of choice for students when they want to learn something and when they want to communicate. Adobe Premiere Pro is Adobe’s ultimate video editing solution. Used at the highest level of multimedia (Hollywood & Bollywood) it is also used in K12 schools across the globe. It is a perfect multi-modal communication tool because it manipulates still images, moving images, animations, audio, voice and print. Adobe Premiere Pro is the standard video editing tool in the TV and video production industry. This workshop by Dr Tim Kitchen aims at helping teachers with minimal video editing skills develop confidence with simple video capture, editing, publication and promotion.

This Adobe Wednesday Webinar by Adobe Creative Educator Innovator Ben Eyles looks at simple image editing with Adobe Express. It will cover the following:

  • Learn the basics of layers and non-destructive edits in Express. See just how far you can push this non-intimidating platform.
  • Gen AI tools (Text to image, Generative fill & Text effects)
  • See how you can take things a bit further in Photoshop.
  • Lastly, see how you can take a Photoshop file, and upload it to Express to achieve things that are really hard to do in Photoshop.

Discover how students can transform their drawings into digital masterpieces using Generative AI Text to Image with Composition and style references in Adobe Express.

We will explore an example task where students draft by hand an identity poster based on a character strength, before transforming it into a digital work of art using Adobe Express.

This webinar will highlight some best-practice examples of how educators are using Adobe Express to transform assessments and build student's digital literacy skills. Discover how students use Adobe Express' multi-modal tools to demonstrate learning and showcase new skills. Examples include creating quick videos to document learning journeys, tools to build impressive digital portfolios, and create document portfolios using Express and Acrobat.
